Taryn McCabe offers in-person classes at her working studio located near Linda Mar in Pacifica, California. Her studio is part of a residential area and has been transformed into a place where creativity has full rein! Her studio has a private entrance and a restroom, so all work is focused in the workspace.


Taryn McCabe is a maker and a shaker! She studied jewelry making and art in Florence, Italy. McCabe earned her Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art at Alfred University in Alfred, NY. After undergrad she moved to Aomori, Japan where she worked with the world famous artist Takashi Kitamura helping construct paper floats for the Nebuta Festival.
Later, she moved to London, England where she studied shoemaking at Cordwainers at the London College of Fashion. She worked with footwear companies Clarks and L.K. Bennett during her time in London. Then she went on to pursue her MFA at San Francisco State University.
Taryn has taught classes in art and jewelry for decades. She was the Design Lead at Beaducation, an innovative, online jewelry education company. She co-authored a book, New Stamped Metal Jewelry and loves to teach classes.
When she is not working on crafty projects, she can be found spending time with family and friends, gardening, cooking, biking, and playing
with her two awesome children.
