Book your own Private Class/Party: Wire Wrapping Briolette Earrings

Come book your own private creative get-together! This is a fun workshop for you and your friends to make lovely teardrop, wire wrapped earrings. This class is best for people ages 16-80. Ideally you are comfortable learning new skills and can see smaller things. This private workshop is a 3 hour event. Check out your calendar and see what works for you and your friends. Schedule your block of time. Anytime between 10:30am-9pm can work.

Instruction with Taryn McCabe (Masters in Art, and published author of New Stamped Metal Jewelry)

The listing starts at 5 people - with the option to add up to 5 additional people for a total of 10 participants. There is an additional $85 per person beyond the initial 5 students. 

Choose from a curated selection of semi-precious faceted briolette (teardrop) gemstones, along with 14K gold filled or sterling silver metals. We will learn as a group how to use tools and wire to create wire wraps that will showcase your beads beautifully. Samples are displayed in the photos.  There are a few variations of earrings to choose from and each participants can decide which to make. The goal is everyone takes home their own finished earrings!

We begin with a variety of gemstones, jump rings and metal blanks, then we'll look at colors, sizes and combinations. We will learn the best way to create consistent loops with specific tools and how to make strong wire wraps that are ideally symmetrical.

This class is a fun and detail oriented creative project. If you love crafting or are new to wire work, this class will work well for you.
