Three hours of studio time and instruction from Taryn McCabe

The listing starts at 4 people - with the option to add up to 4 additional people for a total of 8 participants total. With 4 participants the cost equates to $150 per person and the more people who attend, the lower the cost becomes per person. 

Choose one project for the group to all learn together. Options are displayed in the photos.  We will select one project that all participants can make -  with their own individual twist! The goal is everyone takes home their own finished piece. 

This class is an excellent starting point to learn how to make stamped metal jewelry and a fantastic way to have fun with your chosen crew! 

We begin with a variety of letter stamps in different fonts and sizes. We will use them to line up letters, figure out the best spacing and stamp words and names. We then work on basic jewelry techniques to transform our stamped creations into finished jewelry pieces.

This class will cover how to stamp on metal, darkening and polishing your metal, filing and sanding, basic wire techniques, how to use jump rings, creating holes in metal, and how to attach your ear wires or chain. 

We will work with aluminum, brass, and copper sheet metal, along with sterling silver and 14K gold filled wire.
