DIY JEWELRY CAMP 6/9- 6/13

Come learn how to make your own jewelry! This first week of summer is a special one as we kick off the season with a camp that teaches you a skillset that can entertain you the whole summer. You will learn an array of skills that can serve you your whole life. We will spend five days learning how to use tools, manipulate wire, make our own beads, cut, stamp, shape, file, polish and much more. We work with materials such as, metals, polymers, paints, thread, cord, crystals, paper, dyes, you name it! This camp is near and dear to my heart because it is not only fun and awesome, but it helps shape a creative community, and launch budding entrepreneurs.

Camp is from 9am till 3pm. All supplies and tools are provided. Light snacks are provided. We will take intermittent breaks and visit the park in the neighborhood as a form of recess from our activities. Lunch is NOT provided, please bring lunch and water. On the last day we walk to the Linda Mar Shopping Center where campers can use their own money to get a snack or beverage as we finish up camp and reflect on what we've learned. 

Camp is designed for kids ages 9-14. Exceptions have been made for students who are focused and self motivated to learn.

Camp is hosted by Pacifica artist, Taryn McCabe, at her studio in Pacifica, Ca. Once you sign up you will receive an email with more information about the address along with a form for you to fill out so Taryn can learn more about your camper.
